A VOW OF LOVE

Smiling green eyes
Captivating my thoughts
Enraptured in delight
These came to mind.

Let us not our devotion disturb
With petty thoughts and
Poorly chosen words,
Instead let us keep our flame of love
Burning ever brighter
With sincere, caring thoughts.

Thinking alike,
So that together
Our love will blossom and bind,
From here on out
Perceptibly without any doubt.

My very own Love,
Your heart I will cherish and embrace
Hold high in my innermost space,
Respect and honor it
With utmost delicate care
Fiercely fight
All attempts to tarnish it.
