Every
day that we live,
we see
people take and people give.
Sometimes
we lose, sometimes we win,
Sometimes
we cry and sometimes we grin.
But
far to often we tend to dwell
on events
that made our lives unwell,
why can't
we just accept the bad,
and go
on without being sad?
Why
not focus on happy things,
instead
of say what little luck brings.
Learn
to live our lives with mirth,
instead
of fretting over what things are worth.
For
happiness is a priceless thing,
found
with peasants and coveted by kings.
Sadness
brings only death and despair,
Joy can
put success in the air.
And
if instead of being mean in turn,
and in
our heads making our anger churn,
were to
all become benevolent men,
we would
never fight war again.
No
more gang fights or poverty,
no more
stealing and no fights over property,
no breaking
of relations and no spite or strife,
no cheating
or gouging or stabbing of knives.
Only
a joyous unity of humanity,
a perfect
utopia though in anarchy
where
nobody would commit suicide,
and nobody
would have to steal their ride.
Where
we would all forget our depression,
and bettering
our lives was not an obsession,
Where
power and money were not at stake,
where
people did not decide what was theirs to take.
Many
dream but few try to supersede,
our current
ideals, and even then fewer suceed,
To make
everyone's actions and speech totally free,
now tell
me, why is it this can not be?
